Why I built Money Streamline
I started selling on eBay UK as a student. Cameras were my hobby: I would buy one, use it for a while, then sell it on eBay to pay towards the next one.
The first time a camera sold, I was shocked. The money that reached me was less than the price I had sold it for, and I did not understand why. Then I learned how eBay fees work.
Later I bought picture frame hanging kits from a supplier in China and sold them on eBay. That is when fees really started to matter. On a small item, the fees decide whether you make a profit or a loss.
Money Streamline is the tool I wish I had then. You enter your price and your costs, and it shows the fees, what you receive and your real profit before you list. Every rate comes from the platform's own fee pages, with a link and the date we checked it.
I run this site myself, from London. I am not an accountant and nothing here is tax or financial advice. If you spot a wrong number, please tell me through the contact form and I will fix it.
